Beatrice Pulliam is a Reference Librarian and Assistant Professor at Providence College, a private, Catholic liberal arts college in Providence, Rhode Island. Pulliam is a 2004 graduate of the Simmons College GSLIS program, and a member of the Beta Beta chapter of Beta Phi Mu, the international Library and Information Science honor society. As a recent grad, Pulliam is very active in the profession and currently juggles reference, instruction, web and library technology and liaison duties in her position at Providence College. Beatrice is also author of the Edifice Ref ( http://edificeref.info) blog, a blog that looks at reference, findability & technology in academic libraries and editor of the inaugural ASIST Annual Meeting blog (http://asist2005.neasist.org) in Charlotte, NC last November.
