Instructor for: How to Conduct Focus Groups and The Effective Use of Teams in Medical Libraries

Elaine R. Martin is the Director of Library Services, Lamar Soutter Library, University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS), Worcester, and the Director of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, New England Region, also housed at UMMS. A medical librarian for more than 20 years, Elaine is a graduate of the doctor of arts program within the Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science. Her research interests include the use of teams in medical libraries and the use of evidence-based resources in public health. She is an active member of the Medical Library Association and serves on the board of the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries.
