Joan Howland is currently Head of Circulation Services at the Dover Town Library and is fortunate enough to work within the Children's Services Department. She is a founding member and contributor to http://librarygoddesses.blogspot.com and an organizer of LibCamp Boston 2007. LibCamp is Boston's first unconference focusing on Web 2.0 technologies and the possible applications in library services.

Joan's 15 years experience providing programming for youth range from school and public libraries to Scouting and Destination Imagination teams. When away from the library she is most often found scouring the shoreline on Sanibel Island seeking a gift from the sea.
