Paul Hoffman is a recent GSLIS graduate and former programmer
analyst with the Taubman Medical Library at the University of
Michigan. His undergraduate coursework was in computer science
and linguistics, and his research and professional interests
include personal information management and emerging models of
scholarly communication. Other interests include typography
and lexicography.
A firm believer in the Free Software and Open Access
movements, he has released a number of Perl modules and other
open source programs; his Typography and Graphic Design
