Beth Gallaway is the trainer/consultant for youth services at the Metrowest MA Regional Library System. She does additional independent consulting in other Massachusetts regions and other states, has spoken at state and national library conferences, and has published articles in Media Forum Online, the newsletter of the MA School Library Media Association, and YAttitudes, the newsletter of the Young Adult Library Services Association. A former young adult librarian, Beth is a passionate adovacate for young adults, is one of only three YALSA Serving the Underserved Trainers in the state of Massachusetts, and recently worked on a statewide committee to revise the Massachusetts standards for public library service to young adults. She graduated from Simmons with a Master's degree in Library and Information Science in 1996.

Beth is an avid gamer, currently playing World of Warcraft and SetGame online, Sims 2 Nightlife on her PC, Prince of Persia and Bejeweled on her cell phone, Snood on her Palm, Tetris on her Gameboy Advance, Dance Dance Revolution & Karaoke Revolution on her X-Box, Eye Toy on her PS2, and Mario Kart Double Dash on her Gamecube. Beth is authoring a book on Gaming and Libraries for Neal Schuman.
