Instructor for:
Introduction to Virtualization and Linux System Administration

Nicholas has worked in library IT since 1991 and in libraries since 1987. He has held positions at the New York Public Library, South Dakota State University, Kansas University and Eastern Connecticut State University. He began his career as a cataloger, but switched to IT due to an generally acknowledged ineptitude at cataloging. Currently, he works at UConn where he tries to help out with IT projects such as virtualization, digital content management and streaming video, while doing his primary job, negotiating licenses for electronic resources (e.g. e-journals, databases), a task distressingly similar to cataloging.
