Caryn Anderson currently serves as Integration Research Manager for the Centre of Excellence on Policing & Security at Australian National University in Canberra, Australia . Anderson received her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Communication at Boston University and is a 2005 graduate of GSLIS, during which time she constructed a thesaurus for an emerging discipline and completed the first phase of development of a web-based database application for managing electronic resource usage statistics (presenting on the latter in the GSLIS Research Colloquium in the Spring of 2005). She is active in the American Society for Information Science and Technology, most recently recognized for her work creating the International Calendar for Information Science Conferences. Anderson has additional expertise to offer from her prior career in data analysis and nonprofit management, including fundraising, program development, and evaluation.
